Our Mission

The Wasatch Trails Foundation cultivates memorable experiences for our community through our three part mission - maintain and build a healthy trail system, connect our community, and be built to last.

Our Vision

Picture friends and family creating lasting memories in nature, and seasoned adventurers exploring majestic peaks; forging new bonds on a tapestry of trails weaving through breathtaking landscapes that connect our community. These pathways not only offer recreation but serve as conduits for community connections and cultivate shared memories. As stewards of the land, we connect people to nature helping to ensure the beauty of the Wasatch is preserved for future generations of adventurers. Through our unwavering dedication to our community and our trails we foster healthy living, fun, responsible recreation, and the enduring spirit and beauty of the mountains.

Wasatch Trails Foundation is operated by our full time Executive Director, Volunteer Board, Trail Crew, and countless volunteers and community partners.

Why Are You Passionate About Trails and Serving WTF?

"Having access to the outdoors through trails allows people to connect to themselves and others physically, mentally and emotionally. I am thrilled to call Heber Valley home and to have a positive impact on our overall well-being through building our trail network and our outdoor community.”
