Eric Porter is a full time professional mountain biker with a career spanning 20 years and going strong. From competing in MTB slopestyle events around the world to riding adventures in wild places, he’s done a bit of everything. Some of his recent mountain bike film trips have taken him to Iceland, The Himalayas, Iraq, and more. Check out his YouTube channel PorterMTB to see what he’s up to. He is the current President of Wasatch Trails Foundation and has lived in the Heber Valley with his wife Megan for 16 years, they are happy to be raising their two boys here as well.

Why Are You Passionate About Trails and Serving WTF?

"I am extremely passionate about trails because they have shaped the course of my life. I grew up in Kentucky with trails that I could ride to from my house, and it is my goal to help create trails in our community that are accessible to everyone here in Wasatch County and beyond. Trails are an asset to everyone, giving people a place to connect with nature and the world around them and build confidence, making their lives better."
