  • Trailhead: Pine Creek Nature Trail (park before the gate at Pine Creek Campground)

  • Route: Pine Creek Nature Trail or Phosphate West

  • Distance: 2–4 miles

  • Time: 1–1.5 hours

What to bring:

Experience a full-moon snowshoe adventure through the scenic trails of Wasatch Mountain State Park! Choose between beginner (1.5–2 miles) and intermediate (3.5–4 miles) routes and enjoy light refreshments after the hike.

Winter Festival

In partnership with Friends of Wasatch Mountain State Park

Celebrate winter at the Annual Wasatch Mountain State Park Winter Festival! This free, family-friendly event invites the community to get outside and enjoy winter recreation while learning about the importance of snow and water in Utah.

Enjoy a 1-hour session of cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, or fat tire biking, plus fun games, food, hot chocolate, and prize giveaways. Equipment is provided for skiing and snowshoeing (please bring your own sturdy boots).
